IMS World Champion, Italian and European Champion, with victories in the Copa del Rey, the Giraglia Trophy, IRC class at Spi Ouest France, Fastnet UK and Cowes Week. Design and construction technology are tweaked and perfected on the world’s main regatta courses, establishing their superiority before being transferred onto standard production. This approach enables Cantiere del Pardo to meet its customers’ highest expectations, offering high-performance boats that are safe, comfortable, easy to sail even with a small crew, whatever the sea and wind conditions might be. Grand Soleil 43’ was created using this same approach.

“We are very confident that the end product will be ideally suited to be competitive under a number of rating rules. On the other hand, as a cruising alternative, this boat will be very fast under all conditions, easy to manage by a short crew, well balanced and extremely enjoyable under sail.”

Every detail is designed to ensure that the Grand Soleil 43’ offers easy sailing for the helmsman, even with a small crew, whatever the sea and wind conditions might be.

The exclusive double layout proposed by Grand Soleil 43’ offers more freedom of choice for the internal living. Beyond the traditional kitchen there is another more original proposal with the “L” shape layout that multiplies the living space on board and the volume of the dinette, giving more configuration for the different style of cruising.

Seaworthy in all conditions, comfortable interiors, light and airy, high-quality trimmings, handsome and practical: all these qualities combine to offer the ultimate in comfort.

All the space on board is optimized with innovative solutions from the stainless steel trim on the shower of the spacious fore bathroom to the safe and convenient opening system on the under-bed storage space. Accommodation on board is spacious and airy, and the owner’s cabin is embellished with the elegant finishing touches and practical solutions that are essential to life at sea.

Cantiere del Pardo’s priorities are resoundingly clear: safety and structural soundness. This choice is reflected in the use of traditional boatbuilding techniques that have stood the test of time and have been finely honed, down to the smallest details.

The ultimate in strength and durability: stratified unidirectional fibreglass offers a tensile strength of up to 25 kg/mm². To ensure the durability and waterproofing of the outer surfaces, NPG isophtalic GELCOAT NEOGEL and vinylester resin are applied to the first layers of the hull. The steel used is AISI 316 on the outside, and AISI 304 on the inside, welded using tungsten electrodes according to the “ARCOTIG” process. In 7-layer marine plywood, bonded to the hull with a 60-mm-wide lamination applied to the edges of the bulkheads after abrading, in order to achieve maximum adhesion with the fibreglass.

Consisting of a stainless steel bar with a diameter of 60 mm; the blade structure is made up of 300 mm stainless steel plates. The shaft swivels on two supports, using self-aligning ball or roller bearings to keep friction to a minimum.
