This session explored how Mumbai’s water transport can evolve into a modern, efficient, and high-capacity Water Metro system. Mr. Mongia contributed insights drawn from decades of operational experience across Mumbai’s waterways and highlighted the opportunities, challenges, and path forward for creating a reliable Water Metro network for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
