Earlier Leisure boating in India for long meant small fleets of sailing boats at elite clubs awash in the Raj hangover. But now for a growing armada of boaters, the winds certainly seem to be blowing towards India “Leisure sailing has gained momentum in India from 2001,” The leisure, relaxation and sporting merits of our waters are beginning to unravel themselves. The vast, unspoiled shores are enticing upwardly mobile Indians to buy a boat and go cruising.. The Dream of building a world to explore the sea came to reality when we gave birth to West Coast Marine Yacht Services.

West Coast Marine’s services include consultancy, boat building and repairs, yacht management services, training, charters, brokerage services, water sports centers and marinas. Off late it has spread its sails and established tie-ups with reputed shipyards in U.A.E. Australia and China besides India. West Coast Marine has been dealing with major refits of yachts and provides consultancy services for new constructions of mega yachts, live aboard dive boats, commercial ferries, patrol boats and interceptor crafts. In addition, West Coast Marine has two wholly owned subsidiaries, Viz. Sea Waif and Colaba Workshop 2001. Sea Waif is the only exclusive, Yacht handling agency in India. Colaba Workshop 2001 undertakes building of sports boats, sailing boats, cruisers / RIB’s up to 40 ft LOA.
